We are still using Runyourpool.com to submit and track weekly picks. Your username and password are the same. Site registration is FREE. (If you need the information again, I can re-send.) If you're new, you'll need to register for an account and you'll need the pool ID and password.
HOW IT WORKS
- Fee is $10 per entry, due at the beginning of the season. Buy as many as entries as you’d like.
- Pick a team that you think will win in Week One - no spreads, just a winner. Any team, any game.
- If your team wins, you pick again in Week 2 - same team or different team. It’s up to you.
- If your pick loses, you’re eliminated - for the season. (This is why people buy multiple entries.)
- Multiple entries can be split - all on one team or one team for each pick. It’s up to you.
- The last person standing is the winner.
- All picks will be revealed on the website after the deadline - 10 am PT / 1 pm ET on Sundays.
THE RULES:
- Entry fees must be RECEIVED no later than Sat., Sept. 7.
- Preferred payment is via PayPal or Venmo - but we can make other arrangements, if necessary.
- Picks for Week One Thurs. Night game - Packers @ Bears on Sept 5 - as well as all fees for those picks, must be in by Wednesday. No exceptions. And yes, you can still buy more picks if your Thurs. night pick loses (or wins...)
- There is NO CREDIT. Please don’t even ask.
- Picks must be submitted to the Web site ONLY. If you need help or need me to submit your pick for you, please make arrangements ahead of time - not Sunday morning.
- I will not chase you down for a pick. If you’re forgetful, set a reminder on the site or on your phone.
- If you forget to submit a pick, the Web site will pick that week's LEAST favorite for you (the smallest point spread) - but only THREE times during the season. After that, a forgotten pick is a LOSER.
- Picks for Thursday, Friday or Saturday games must be in before those kickoffs.
- All picks must be submitted online before first Sunday kickoffs - 10 am PT / 1 pm ET. Entries close and cannot be changed after the deadline.
WINNING AND LOSING:
- If there are fewer than 10 players remaining at the end of regular season, then the jackpot is split and the WEFP ends.
- If there are 10 or more survivors, we will continue into the playoffs, where players must choose two winners - one AFC, one NFC - to advance. (More details will be provided, if the pool gets that far.)
- If the remaining players all lose on one single week, leaving no one to advance, the winnings will be divided among the last remaining players.
- A tie is a loser. You must pick a “winner.” If your team ties, it didn’t win.
- The jackpot will be determined by the number of winning entries. The commissioner takes 10% off the top, a portion of which goes to the Web site’s fees for hosting the pool.
